SQUARE WHEEL BREWS

BLONDE (509)

Square Wheel Brewing has partnered up with Coulee Hite Enterprises and Linc Malting to create a completely local brew. When we started making beer, we worked with a local farmer to take our spent grains.  On a cool fall day in 2017, that same farmer approached Square Wheel Brewing about growing local barley for our beers.  A true partnership was formed and Coulee Hite Enterprises in Reardan Washington started growing barley exclusively for Square Wheel Brewing.

In addition to growing the barley locally, the malting process is also performed right here in Spokane Washington by LINC Malting Company.  They are located right off Sullivan road in the Spokane Valley.

We are proud to support our local community and provide unique and interesting products to our customers.  Anytime you see the (509) designation on one of our beers, you can be certain that the brew was produced locally in the greater Spokane area. In the Blonde (509), you will experience a perfect blend between malted barley and aromatic hops, which creates a crisp, fresh flavor. This beer is perfect for a warm summer day or anytime you want to have a lighter fare.

SQUARE WHEEL HEFEWEIZEN

Square Wheel Hefeweizen is a traditional German style wheat beer. Hefeweizen means “white beer” in German. The name is derived from the yellowish-white tinge that is imparted by the pale wheat and barley malts from which the beer is made. We use German Hallertau hops which provides a mellow, spicy, hop flavor with some great citrus overtones.  In addition, we use traditional wheat beer yeast that imparts a slight bubblegum flavor, making this wheat beer very refreshing on a warm summer day or anytime you want to enjoy a lighter beer.

Beer Type: Ale     Beer Style: Wheat     ABV%: 4.7     IBU's: 19    SRM: 4.9

COPPER ALE

Square Wheel Copper Ale was brewed in the true Amber fashion, using several different crystal malts coupled with malt that gives a nice biscuit  finish at the end.  Our crystal and base malts are sourced right here in Washington state and we are proud to support our local community when brewing this beer.  We use both Cascade and Saaz hops in this Copper ale.  The Cascade is used as the bittering hop and the Saaz helps to contribute some of the hop flavor and aroma, but are really just there to compliment the rich malt flavors in this beer. From our family to yours!
